Jerry Underwood is the immediate past-president of the PREMA board of directors. He is also the director for District 6 and has been on the PREMA board since 1984.

Underwood is married to Connie Underwood and they have two daughters and one son. They reside 14 miles southwest of Alliance. 
He is the owner and manager of an irrigated farm agribusiness consisting of cow-calf, corn and alfalfa operations. Underwood is a member of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and the Nebraska Cattlemen. His interests include hunting, fishing and most sports.
