PREMA Board of Directors
 
The original PREMA board of directors was formed by the incorporators of the Panhandle Rural Electric Membership Association in 1945. Hilda E. Black was the first president of the board. The number of directors was reduced from 11 to seven in 1949. The board meets monthly at PREMA's main office on East Highway 2 in Alliance.

The voting for directors is done by mail in ballot. The ballots and return envelope are included with the notice of annual meeting. Ballots are received until 8 a.m. on the day of the annual meeting. The results of the election are announced at the annual meeting.
