PREMA offers a budget billing plan to accommodate qualifying residential consumers that feel this option would be beneficial to them.  Residential consumers who have a good credit rating with no balance carried forward and 12 months of history are eligible.

The amount to be paid each month is determined by the 12 month history of your meter readings, so please be aware if the readings you have turned in are estimated , your budget will not be accurate.  The average of the previous 12 months is then divided by 12 and rounded to the nearest dollar. The 12^th month is the month of re-compute, your bill will reflect any credits you may have, or bill you for the difference if the monthly budget amount was not sufficient to cover.  Your new budget will then be calculated and printed on your statement. 

This is a wonderful tool for those of us who like to know what our monthly expenses will be for our own home budget planning!
