Association and its power suppliers. Ryan Reiber, General Manager of PREMA announced that Brandon Yuill, Lindsay Reiber and Lindsey Briggs from Alliance; Justin R. Thomas, and Brandon Swanson from Arthur; and, Colby Myers from Ashby will receive scholarships from PREMA, Basin Electric Power Cooperative of North Dakota and Tri-State Generation and Transmission of Denver, Colorado.

Yuill, the son of Ray and Violet Yuill will be a sophomore at the South Dakota School of Mines. He will receive $1,000 from Basin Electric Power Cooperative.

PREMA awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Lindsay Reiber and $500 each to Justin R. Thomas and Brandon Swanson. Reiber will be a sophomore at Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. She is the daughter of Ryan and Nancy Reiber. Thomas plans to  attend Doane College in Crete next fall as an incoming freshman. His father is Jeff Thomas, Sr. and his mother is Leanne Heble. Brandon Swanson will also be an incoming freshman and plans to attend Chadron State College or Mid Plains Community College. His parents are Kirk and Becky Swanson.

Tri-State scholarships, also $500 each were awarded to Lindsey Briggs daughter of David and Gina Briggs and Colby Myers, son of Max and Denise Boots and Ken Myers. Briggs will be a sophomore at Chadron State College and Myers will  be a freshman at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

The PREMA, Tri-State and Basin Scholarship winners were chosen at random from nineteen applicants. The Chadron State Foundation Scholarship is chosen by a committee at Chadron State College and this year two scholarships were available. Winners of those scholarships were Lindsey Briggs and Brandon Swanson. All entrants are dependents of PREMA members, or PREMA employees.
